Sam prides herself by being an optimistic person. She is a vibrant and determined person who loves to uplift others and make them laugh.

She believes that having others around who love who you truly are is the best way to walk through life. She tries to become one of those people with her optimism. She also tries to live out this message, especially teaching young girls this since her north star is, “surround yourself with people who love you for you.”

Sam is also a student athlete who balances both academics and athletics through her optimism. She insists that to maintain a balance you are to surround yourself with people who are nothing but loving and supportive and always have a positive outlook on situations.

This is not just a trait she has, it is a lifestyle that influences her interactions, achievements, and the way she approaches every aspect of life. She does this especially on the soccer field. She tries her best to lift up her teammates and inspire others to give their 100% by her own actions. This is the type of leader she strives herself to be.

Off the field and academic life, she loves to spend time with her family and friends on the ski slopes or on the lake. Her favorite thing to do is go wakesurfing because it brings the tension and stresses out and allows room for relaxation and fun.

Fun Fact: she has a pet bunny who is turning 6 in May!
