Margaret is a 16-year-old sophomore at Monte Vista High School, and plays competitive soccer at Mustang Soccer Club. She is a driven, independent person with a passion for leadership, and she hopes to make a difference in the world. In her free time, Margaret loves to read and bake. She considers herself more of an introvert, but she enjoys going out with friends and making memories. She is always up for any kind of puzzle, and problem-solving games are her favorite. Margaret loves to travel the world and see new places with her family, and she's happy as long as she has good music blasting in her ears.

Margaret is passionate about playing soccer and is not shy about bringing her leadership skills to the field; she has been playing competitive soccer since the age of nine. She feels that her time playing soccer has had a significant impact on the person she is today through the life lessons it has taught her and relationships it has helped her form. Margaret prioritizes empowering others through leading by example. She strives to help the people around her better themselves by focusing on her own self growth and improvement. She tries to let her passions guide her through life, but also makes precise and thought-out decisions to meet her goals. This is evident in the way she leads; when Margaret commits to showing up, you can trust that she will find a way to get there.

Margaret has a strong understanding of the people around her, which enables her ability to lead in a way that empowers others. A life lesson she looks to in times of turmoil is that no one is perfect, and sometimes you cannot control every aspect of an outcome. She knows that many things don’t work out the way you’d expect for a reason, and at the end of the day the best outcome is the one that is meant to happen.

One of Margaret’s primary life goals is to affect others in a positive manner. Like her Mom, who is the head of a young-girls empowerment organization called Girl on Purpose, Margaret wishes to empower other girls to have confidence in themselves and to never quit on chasing their dreams. Through greatly impactful organizations like Girls Soccer Worldwide, Margaret is excited to make a difference in the lives of people in need. Surrounding herself with like-minded individuals gives Margaret a chance to share her thoughts and ideas, and take action towards achieving her personal goals as well as the goals of the organization, ultimately changing the lives of others for the better.
