Madison believes that having dedication and perseverance in all aspects of life will lead you to positive and fulfilling outcomes. If she starts something, she will stay committed to it until she sees the results she desires. Despite obstacles in her way or if the odds are against her, Madison puts in the work so she can go above and beyond the expectations that others put on her. She is a hardworking, loyal, compassionate, and a well-rounded person who will never back down from a challenge.

Madison likes to fill her time with sports, helping out at GSWW events, and participating in church events with the Jr. Young Buddhists Association where she also serves as the secretary and publicity chair. She plays for the varsity basketball team and the junior varsity Lacrosse team at Granada High School. On the court/field, she gives her best effort 100% of the time while cheering on and supporting her teammates. Madison’s favorite part of GSWW is the grassroot workshops, where she gets to use her leadership skills by encouraging young girls to be the best version of themselves. She always does her best to lead with love and enthusiasm, no matter how good or bad her day is going. At her church, she helps out whenever she can with activities like helping with Dharma School lessons with the younger kids.

Academically, Madison always strives to do her best. She takes honors and AP classes and still manages to maintain a 4.50 GPA. She has learned Spanish and about the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries since she was in kindergarten, and is bilingual and biliterate! Madison is also part of the National Honors Society at Granada. To be a member, students strive for academic achievements while learning about good character and doing community service.

In her free time, Madison spends time with her best friends, and loves to hang out with her mom on the weekends while they shop, make fun of reality tv shows, and chat about school and work. In her down time, her favorite activities are reading, drawing, listening to music, practicing her basketball and lacrosse skills, or playing with her dog and rabbit.
