Kayla is very passionate about leadership and making a positive impact on the world. She has a reputation of being a natural leader and is very proud of the impact she has been able to make because of it.

One of her greatest gifts and rewards as a leader is being able to problem solve and see positive changes take place as a result. She is very good at finding a solution and finding one that everyone can agree on. She has the patience to hear people out and get a bigger picture point of view before she starts helping and sharing her ideas.  This approach has gained her much respect from her peers. 

Kayla makes it a priority to show up as her authentic self. When she is working towards her dreams and goals she always makes sure it is something she is passionate about, not what others want her to do. You can see this in her leadership. When Kayla commits to a program, she is loyal and can be relied on to be consistent in showing up. 

Kayla is passionate about living a life through the eyes of self love and self worth. In fact, her message to other girls is to "Be Yourself. Know your truth. Be the Change." This is definitely a way of life she exemplifies and encourages those around her to do, as well. This is important because she values doing things for herself and always doing things she loves, not what others want her to do. When you meet her, you will know these words represent who she is and living them out everyday is key.  

She has great perspective as a leader.  A life lesson she reflects back on is learning that when working towards one goal, sometimes you don’t get the result you want.  She doesn't look at this as an opportunity missed only a re-direction to opportunity being met.  

Kayla is passionate about playing soccer and is not shy about bringing her leadership skills to the field. This is her 7th year playing competitive soccer. She feels it has truly made her a better person and has taught her so many life lessons.
