Always looking for ways to make an impact, Hayden hopes she can help young girls find their voices and their strengths with GSW. She is a leader on the field and the court, in the classroom, and with her friends. GSW gives Hayden the opportunity to use her leadership skills, find ways to help others, and make an impact!

Her teammates and friends describe her as driven, caring, hard working and inclusive. These skills carry over in all that she takes on. As a high school student-athlete, Hayden excels in her classes and participates in both volleyball and soccer. Her ability to manage these requirements, along with her family and friends, has taught her the values of communication and prioritization.

Hayden is super passionate about both the sports she loves, soccer and volleyball! She’s been playing soccer for 12 years and volleyball for 7. As a leader on her teams Hayden has taken what she has learned at GSW and used it in her personal life. These sports provide her an outlet for her competitive side, a place to be herself, and have taught her lessons and skills she uses everyday.

Hayden is bilingual in Spanish and has used it extensively in her travels! She’s seen how knowing multiple languages can open doors to many different opportunities. When traveling to Paraguay with GSW, Hayden was able to use her Spanish, deepening her experience and the impact she made.

Hayden’s “North Star” is: “See the challenge and take it on.” She is always seeking out new opportunities for growth and improvement, and she isn’t afraid of a challenge! Hayden has big aspirations and goals for herself–and she’s driven to accomplish them.

Giving back to her community has been something modeled for Hayden since she was young. She remembers volunteering with her family, cleaning creek beds and packing Thanksgiving meals for those less fortunate, and knows how impactful those experiences have been. With her dad, she’s also volunteered withHabitat for Humanity build sites and with her mom she’s done Holiday Toy Drives.

Hayden loves baking, spending time with family and friends, and reading! Fun fact: Hayden has a twin sister! She is the funniest person she knows and she loves spending time with her!
